2. Important activities and events of HUBEX

According to weather analysis and short range forecasting resulted from weather analysis meeting of HUBEX headquarter, there will be a rainfall event within HUBEX b -scale region. The HUBEX headquarter meeting consider that this is an important weather event before HUBEX region enter Mei-yu/Baiu period. Also considering the historical examples of Meiyu/Baiu period, the HUBEX headquarter meeting decide to initiate the HUBEX Intensive Observation Period (HUBEX IOP) starting from June 11, 1998.
