2. Important activities and events of HUBEX

1)Weather analysis and forecasting: With the weakening of the subtropical high, the main rainfall band move eastward. There were also some convective rainfalls and thunderstorms located around HUBEX b -region. Reference to the numerical weather forecasting, the subtropical high will weaken further and withdraw eastward obviously tonight. The weather forecasting claimed that there will be a relatively widespread rainfall within Anhui province after 15 July.

2)Professor Ding Yihui, director of NCC arrived at Hefei today. Professor Ding and directors of HUBEX Headquarter will visit Shouxian and discuss with Japanese scientists for future cooperation.
