2. Important activities and events of HUBEX

Weather analysis and forecasting: Under control of subtropical high, most parts of HUBEX b -scale region remain high temperature. There were also some convective cloud system and thunderstorms located around HUBEX b -region. Reference to the numerical weather forecasting, the subtropical high will weaken further and withdraw eastward. Combing the southward cold air flow, the weather forecasting claimed that there will be a relatively widespread rainfall within Anhui province around 15 July 1998 and the high air temperature will drop slightly.
