2. Important activities and events of HUBEX

Weather analysis and forecasting: There were some rainfall areas located at Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. There were also some thunderstorms within southern part of HUBEX a -region. Reference to the numerical weather forecasting, the subtropical high will weaken and withdraw eastward. There will be a relatively significant rainfall event within Anhui province around 15 July 1998.
