2. Important activities and events of HUBEX

1)Weather analysis and forecasting: Controlled by subtropical high, most parts of Anhui province were clear and hot. The Maximum temperature for most cities of Anhui province reached 35. There was a rainfall band located in Northern part of HUBEX-b region. There were also some thunderstorms within HUBEX a -region. Reference to the numerical weather forecasting product, the most parts of HUBEX-b region will be still under the control of subtropical high and the weather will be clear and hot until 15 July 1998.

2)10 July Professors Y. Fujiyoshi, Kikuichi, Uyeda etc, visited Anhui meteorological Bureau and HUBEX Headquarter.
